XOKURA (xokura.com) is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. We do not require accounts, we do not sell personal data, and we do not run tracking beyond the analytics described below.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use two analytics tools: (1) Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregate measurement (page views, referrers, country-level location, browser type) that does not use cookies; and (2) Google Analytics 4, which uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure traffic and search performance. Google's use of this data is described in Google's privacy documentation. You can opt out of GA4 via browser settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request metadata as part of serving and securing the site.
- Email. If you contact us, we keep your email and message only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish visitors, as described above. The site sets no other tracking cookies. If display advertising is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before ads go live to describe the ad provider, the cookies involved, and your choices.
Affiliate links
If an article contains affiliate links, it will carry a clear disclosure on the article itself. We currently run no affiliate programs.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (in practice: correspondence you sent us) by emailing [email protected].
Changes
We will update this page when our data practices change, with the "last updated" date above revised accordingly.
